The original idea was for a powered minecart that could be ridden, but the positive response to the mod encouraged its creators to expand its content. The Train and Zeppelin mod was first introduced as Traincraft in April 2011, consisting of a single “steam” locomotive and cart without any GUI or ability to attach the cart to the locomotive.
